A SIMOPS study is a structured risk assessment that evaluates the hazards arising from concurrent activities occurring within the same location or timeframe. In complex Oil & Gas environments – such as construction, commissioning, maintenance, and live operations – simultaneous activities can interact and significantly increase risk if not properly managed.
